Marriage Registry

Thank you for visiting our marriage application page.

We look forward to assisting you with your application.

One of the most important rabbinical tasks in preparation for marriage is to indeed confirm the Jewish status of all brides and grooms. This task is undertaken by the Melbourne Beth Din and it also ensures that your status and Jewish wedding are permanently listed in our data-base, which will be recognised around the world including the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.

If you have been sent by your Rabbi to complete this process, please ensure to list their details on the application forms so they can be kept up to date on your application.

If you have any questions about this process please either discuss it with your Rabbi or feel free to contact us at the details below.

Important – Please note:

To ensure that your application is processed as quickly as possible, please ensure the following:

  • Both bride and groom complete their applications.
  • Ensure that all supporting documents are uploaded. Should you not have access to all documentation, please submit as much as possible, however, this may cause further delay in the turnover of your application.
  • In the event that you are missing documents, please explain in the additional spaces provided in the application form.
